Because Blossom is a live daily game, this archive grows every morning. If you play daily, the newest puzzle is always one click away, and the Blossom hub covers how the game works along with strategy that carries from one day to the next.

Questions

Blossom Daily FAQ

1How far back does this archive go?+
To November 5, 2025. There are 276 days on record, holding 97,645 answers between them.
2Is today's puzzle included?+
Yes. A collection job runs each morning, so the newest day is filed the day it releases. Right now the newest on record is August 24, 2026.
3How do I find one particular date?+
Days are grouped by month below, newest first. Select the month, then the date.
4Why might a date be missing?+
If a day's source record could not be verified it is left out rather than published with unchecked answers. Missing dates are gaps in the source, not in the checking.
How to play

How Blossom Works

How Blossom works, and what makes a word count.

1

Start from the centre

Every valid word contains the centre letter. Build outward from it rather than scanning the petals first.

2

Reuse letters freely

Letters may repeat as often as you like. Words like LEVEL or ERASER are legal from a single set.

3

Hunt the pangram

A word using all seven letters scores highest. Look for common suffixes first — ING, ERS, IEST.

Blossom Tips & Strategy

Strategy that carries from one day to the next.

1

Bookmark this page

It updates every morning as the new day is filed, so a single bookmark always lands on the current archive.

2

The centre letter is mandatory

Every accepted word must contain it. If a word was rejected in-game and you cannot see why, check the centre letter first — that is the reason nine times out of ten.

3

Letters repeat as often as you like

Only seven distinct letters are shown, but each can be used repeatedly. Double letters and repeated vowels open up far more words than the flower suggests.

4

Chase the suffixes

If the set contains G, N and I, test -ING. If it has E, R and S, test -ERS and -IEST. Suffix-first is the fastest route to a pangram.

5

Four letters is the floor

Words shorter than four letters are not accepted, so ignore three-letter finds however tempting they look.

6

Work the prefixes too

RE-, UN-, IN- and OVER- combine with the centre letter surprisingly often and are easy to miss when you are scanning for whole words.

How the daily archive is kept

A collection job runs each morning, validates the new puzzle and files it the same day it releases. A day that fails validation is not published, and a failed collection never overwrites days already on record.

That is why the archive can show a gap: a missing date means no correct data existed for it, not that the day was skipped.
