What we collect

No account is required to use Solved Archive, and we do not ask for personal information. We do not run a login, a newsletter signup that stores addresses, or a comment system.

Server logs

Like every website, our server records standard request logs — IP address, timestamp, page requested, browser user agent. These are used to keep the site running and to spot abuse. They are not sold, and not used to build a profile of you.

Analytics

No third-party analytics are currently running on this site.

Cookies

The site itself sets no tracking cookies.

Third parties

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests them from Google's servers. No other third-party service receives your data from this site.

Finding An Answer

However you arrived here, this is how you find an answer.

1

Search game and number

Type the game name with the number — “Sky Words 4001” — and land straight on that puzzle.

2

Or browse by block

Games are split into blocks of one hundred, each card showing a detail from that puzzle.

3

Follow the chain

Every puzzle links to the ones either side, so you never return to a menu mid-run.

Getting The Most From The Archive

Six habits that turn a lookup into a two-second job.

1

Search game plus number

Type the game name and the number — “Nonocross 10”, “Cryptogram 1000” — to land on the puzzle rather than a listing.

2

Use the level blocks

Games with more than a hundred puzzles are split into blocks of one hundred, each card showing a detail so you can spot the right one.

3

Follow prev and next

Every puzzle page links to the ones either side. Working through a game in order needs no menu at all.

4

Check the letter count

Answers show how many letters they have. A guess of the wrong length is ruled out before you type it.

5

Bookmark a daily game

Daily puzzles are collected each morning and filed the same day, so a bookmark is always current.

6

Look at the drawn puzzle

Grids, flowers and boards are drawn from the data, not described — the picture usually tells you more than the word list.

Questions

Common Questions

1Do you track me?+
No account, no tracking cookies set by the site itself, and no profile built from your visits. Server request logs exist for reliability and abuse only.
2Is Solved Archive free to use?+
Yes, entirely. Every answer, level listing and daily page is open with no account, no paywall and nothing to install.
3How many games does the archive cover?+
It covers 25 games holding 370,164 puzzles and 6,033,088 answers. Games are added one at a time and only once the full catalogue can be verified.
4How do I report a wrong answer?+
Use the contact page with the game and puzzle number. Every answer traces back to a source record, so corrections are quick to check.

The archive in numbers

Every figure on this site is counted from the data on disk when the page is built. Nothing is estimated, rounded up, or carried over from anywhere else — which is why the totals are uneven numbers rather than tidy ones.
