Word Trek Answers Explained

Word Trek gives you a grid of letters and a theme, and asks you to trace the words hidden in it. This archive holds 1,938 levels with 7,995 answers, and crucially it records the theme of each level alongside its word list — which is often the hint that unlocks the ones you cannot see.

Knowing that a level is themed around photography changes how you read the grid: you stop hunting letters and start looking for words you would expect. That is why the theme sits at the top of every level page here, above the answers, rather than being buried or omitted the way most answer sites leave it out.

Levels are grouped into blocks of one hundred, with each card showing that level's theme so you can find yours by recognition rather than by number. Every level page also links to the ones either side.

How to play

How Word Trek Works

The three moves that solve most puzzles in this game.

1

Read the theme first

The theme tells you what kind of words to expect, which is far more useful than staring at the letters.

2

Trace, do not scan

Words connect through adjacent letters including diagonals. Follow paths rather than reading rows.

3

Long words first

The longest answer uses most of the grid and its path usually reveals where the shorter words sit.

Word Trek Tips & Strategy

Six things that make the difference between stuck and solved.

1

The theme is the real clue

Every level here shows its theme. Knowing the category turns a letter hunt into a much shorter list of candidates.

2

Letters connect in any direction

Paths run horizontally, vertically and diagonally. A word you cannot find is usually bending in a direction you have not tried.

3

Start from rare letters

A J, Q, X or Z in the grid appears in very few words. Building outward from it narrows things fast.

4

Match the length

Every answer carries its letter count, so you can rule out candidates before tracing them.

5

Find the long one first

The longest word crosses most of the grid, and its path shows you which letters remain for the shorter answers.

6

Browse by theme

The block listings show each level's theme, so you can often find your level by recognising it rather than remembering the number.

Word Trek FAQ

The questions players ask about this game, answered directly.

1How many Word Trek levels are covered?+
All 1,938 levels with 7,995 answers in total, numbered unbroken from 1.
2Do you show the level theme?+
Yes. Each level page shows its theme above the answers, because knowing the category is usually more useful than the word list alone.
3How do words connect in the grid?+
Through adjacent letters in any direction, including diagonals. A word can bend as many times as it needs to.
4Why can I not find a listed word?+
It is almost always bending in a direction you have not tried, or starting from a letter you have discounted. Trace from the rarest letter in the word.
5How do I find my level?+
Search the game and number, or browse the blocks of one hundred — each card shows the level theme.
6Is the answer list complete for every level?+
Yes. Every published level carries its full recorded word list; levels with incomplete source records were not published.

How this Word Trek archive is put together

Every Word Trek puzzle on this site is imported from a structured source record rather than transcribed from a screenshot or copied from another answers page. On import each record is validated before it is allowed through: a puzzle missing its core data is left out of the archive instead of being published incomplete. That is why the count reads 1,938 rather than a rounder marketing number.

The archive is maintained by the Solved Archive editorial team, who play these games and use these pages themselves. Because Word Trek has a fixed catalogue that does not change once complete, this archive is finished rather than growing — all 1,938 levels are present. If you spot anything wrong, tell us via the contact page with the puzzle number and we can trace it straight back to its source record. Our full process is written up on the method page.

Solved Archive is an independent fan resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to BitMango or any game developer. Game names and trademarks belong to their respective owners, and this archive exists to help players who are stuck, not to replace the game.
