How Solved Archive Works
Finding an Answer

There are three ways to find what you need, and none of them require an account.

1. Search the game and the number

The fastest route. Type the game name followed by the number — “Sky Words 4001”, “Cryptogram 1000”, “Nonocross 10” — into the search box and you land on that puzzle. The search page also accepts a bare date in YYYY-MM-DD form for daily games, and a plain word if you want to find which puzzles contain it.

2. Browse by block

Every game with more than a hundred puzzles is split into blocks of one hundred. Open the game from all games, pick the block containing your number, and every puzzle in it is listed with a detail — the letter set, the picture name, the author — so you can spot the right one without opening several.

3. Follow the chain

Every puzzle page links to the puzzle before and after it. If you are working through a game in order you never need to return to a menu: solve, scroll, next.

Daily games

4 of the games have a live daily puzzle. Those are collected each morning and filed the same day they release, and every past day stays on record. Today's answers shows the newest day from each of them on one page.

What you will see on a puzzle page

The puzzle itself, drawn — a nonogram grid with both clue axes, a Blossom flower with its centre and petals, a Sky Words board rebuilt from the word coordinates, or a cryptogram's cipher mapping. Then the answers with their letter counts, a short explanation using that puzzle's own numbers, and the links either side.
