CodyCross Answers
Crossword clues in themed worlds; five puzzles to a group.
CodyCross Answers Explained
CodyCross runs on crossword clues rather than letter tiles: each puzzle is a small grid of clues, five puzzles make a group, and groups are collected into worlds. This archive is organised the way the game numbers itself — one page per group — and holds 2,144 groups containing 139,150 clues with their answers.
Grouping matters because a single CodyCross puzzle carries only a dozen or so clues, while the group is what the game actually names and what players remember being stuck on. Each page here lists every clue in the group with its answer and letter count, and names the world the group belongs to, so you can confirm at a glance that you are looking at the right one.
Groups are collected into blocks of one hundred for jumping straight to your range, and each page links to the groups either side of it. Because CodyCross reuses answers far more than it reuses clues, the clue text is what identifies a line — which is why it leads every row rather than sitting behind the answer.

How CodyCross Works
The three moves that solve most puzzles in this game.
Search the clue, not the answer
CodyCross repeats answers across worlds but rarely repeats a clue. The wording is what pins down which line you are on.
Fill the crossings first
Long answers are more constrained than short ones. With a few intersecting letters the grid usually decides the word before the clue does.
Check the world
Every group page names its world. If it does not match the one on your screen, you have the wrong group number.
CodyCross Tips & Strategy
Six things that make the difference between stuck and solved.
The clue identifies the line
Answers repeat throughout CodyCross; clues almost never do. Match the exact wording and you can be certain you are on the right puzzle.
Letter counts split near-identical clues
Where two clues read similarly, the answer length separates them instantly. Every answer here carries its count.
Long answers are the easy ones
More squares means more crossings and fewer possible words. If a group is fighting you, start with its longest slot rather than its shortest.
Work the group, not the puzzle
Puzzles inside a group share a theme. A clue that makes no sense alone often becomes obvious once you have read the others on the same group page.
Watch for plurals and tenses
A clue phrased in the plural wants a plural answer. A one-letter mismatch is the commonest reason a correct-looking word is rejected.
Use the world as a hint
World themes shape the vocabulary — a group in an Ancient Egypt world will lean on that subject even where the clue does not say so.

How this CodyCross archive is put together
Every CodyCross puzzle on this site is imported from a structured source record rather than transcribed from a screenshot or copied from another answers page. On import each record is validated before it is allowed through: a puzzle missing its core data is left out of the archive instead of being published incomplete. That is why the count reads 2,144 rather than a rounder marketing number.
The archive is maintained by the Solved Archive editorial team, who play these games and use these pages themselves. Because CodyCross has a fixed catalogue that does not change once complete, this archive is finished rather than growing. Groups 1,841-1,860 and 1,925-1,940 belong to worlds our source copy never captured. Every other group from 1 to 2,180 is here in full.. If you spot anything wrong, tell us via the contact page with the puzzle number and we can trace it straight back to its source record. Our full process is written up on the method page.
Solved Archive is an independent fan resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Fanatee or any game developer. Game names and trademarks belong to their respective owners, and this archive exists to help players who are stuck, not to replace the game.
