Word Chain 101-200 Explained
This block covers Word Chain levels 101-200. Across the block the 100 puzzles hold 685 answers, an average of 6.9 words per level, against 6.7 across the game as a whole.
Every level was imported from a structured source record and validated before publication, so the answer list you see matches the board in the game, bonus words included. Each card in the grid below shows the chain length for that puzzle, which makes it easy to recognise the level you are stuck on even if you do not remember its number. Select any number to open the full solution.
If you are working through Word Chain in order, you do not need to come back here: every puzzle page links directly to the one before and after it. When you finish level 200, the next block picks up at levels 201-300. The Word Chain hub lists every block in the game along with how to play, strategy tips and the full archive statistics.

How Word Chain Works
The three moves that solve any board in this block.
Work from both ends
The first and last words have only one neighbour each, so they are the most constrained and the easiest to fix.
Test the pair, not the word
A candidate has to join on both sides. Say both compounds aloud, and if either sounds wrong the word is wrong.
Mind the middle
Middle links carry two constraints at once, which is why they resist longest and are worth attacking last.
Tips for Levels 101-200
Six habits worth building, starting with what this block in particular rewards.
Work the block in order
These 100 puzzles run 101-200. Solving in order means every page links straight to the next: no menu, no scrolling, no coming back here.
Read the chain in order
Each word only makes sense against the one before it, so a chain read out of order tells you nothing.
Start at the ends
The first and last words answer to a single neighbour, so they fall before the middle does.
Say both compounds aloud
A middle word must join backwards and forwards. Hearing both halves catches a wrong fit faster than reading does.
Common words link the most
Words like HOUSE, LIGHT, WATER and BOOK join in both directions with dozens of partners, which is exactly why they sit in the middle so often.
A phrase counts, not just a compound
Some links are two separate words in ordinary use rather than one closed compound, so do not rule a pair out for being spaced.

How this block is put together
Blocks of one hundred exist so you never scroll a flat list of thousands. Every puzzle in this block was imported from a structured source record rather than transcribed from a screenshot or copied from another answers page, and each record was validated before it was allowed through: a puzzle missing its core data is left out rather than published incomplete.
Each card above carries a detail taken from that puzzle — its chain length — so the right one is usually recognisable without opening several. Every puzzle links onward to its neighbours, so once you are inside the block you can keep moving without coming back here. If you spot anything wrong, tell us via the contact page with the puzzle number and we can trace it straight back to its source record. Our full process is written up on the method page.
