How to play

How Words of Wonders Works

How to solve any level in this block.

1

Check the landmark

Every level names the monument it belongs to. If the landmark on the page does not match the one in your game, you are on the wrong level number.

2

Place the longest word

It always uses the whole letter set. Once it is down, every remaining answer is built from letters already in front of you.

3

Count the gap

Short answers hide between the long ones. Counting empty squares narrows a slot faster than scanning the tiles again.

Words of Wonders Tips & Strategy

Advice that applies across the whole 401–500 block.

1

Work the block in order

These 100 puzzles run 401–500. Solving in order means every page links straight to the next — no menu, no scrolling.

2

The long word is the letter set

Every other answer is a subset of it. A candidate using a letter that is not in the longest word cannot be on the board, whatever the grid seems to allow.

3

Landmarks repeat, letter sets do not

Several levels share one monument but each has its own letters, so answers never carry from one level to the next even inside the same landmark.

4

Short words are the usual blocker

Three-letter answers fill the gaps the long words leave and are the easiest to overlook on a busy grid. Clear them early.

5

Bonus words earn coins, not squares

If the game accepted a word and nothing appeared on the grid, it was a bonus find. Only board answers are listed on these pages, so the list stays exact.

6

Use the country to orient yourself

The game moves through countries in order. If you are unsure how far along you are, the country on the level page places you immediately.

About this block

Blocks of one hundred exist so you never scroll a list of thousands. Each card above carries a detail taken from that puzzle — the letter set, the picture name, the author — so the right one is usually recognisable without opening several.

Every puzzle in this block links onward to its neighbours, so once you are inside you can keep moving without coming back here.
