Wordscapes Level 2 is built from the tiles NOW and holds 3 words on the board, the longest being NOW at 3 letters. A short board, so each answer carries a lot of weight: one word placed here changes the crossings for almost everything else.
There are 3 very short answers here alongside the longer ones. Those are the ones most often missed — they fill the awkward two- and three-square runs that the big words leave behind, so count the empty squares rather than re-reading the tiles.

At 3 letters it is the most constrained slot on the level, which usually makes it the easiest to place.
Match the slot by length first
Every answer on this site shows its letter count. Counting the empty squares and looking for that length beats reading an alphabetical list from the top, every time.
A repeated tile can be used twice
If the set shows the same letter twice, a single answer may use it twice. Players routinely rule out the correct word because they assumed each tile was single-use.
Bonus words fill no squares
If the game accepted your word but nothing appeared on the grid, it was a bonus word. They earn coins and are listed separately on every level page here.
Prefixes and suffixes are the quiet wins
Once a stem is placed, test it with S, ED, ER and ING. A large share of missed answers are just a word you already found wearing an ending.
